Sask Cup #1 and #2 scheduled for Dec 11 and 12 at QVN has been postponed due to lack of snow. Rescheduled date to be determined.
Entry Level Officials Course
Biathlon Sask will be hosting an Entry Level Officials course on January 8, 2022. It is a full day on line course at not cost to participants. We have 12 spots available in the course.

Calforex Cup 2 - Canmore - November 26 & 27
1) If you are planning to go to the Canmore Races Nov 26, 27, 28 be sure to register yourself. (The race registration will open on Zone 4 at 7:00 on Nov 16, so just before Alphonso Davies Crushes Mexico tonight, get registered in case they limit registrations.

5) Be sure that your rifles are paid for, team fees are paid (50 goals if you are on the HP team) and you are registered as members of Biathlon Canada and Biathlon Saskatchewan.

Save the Date! This notice is to inform you about Biathlon Saskatchewan’s Annual General Meeting that will take place on Thursday October 7 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
The meeting is open to all current members of Biathlon Saskatchewan. New memberships can be purchased on zone4.ca for persons wishing to join Biathlon Saskatchewan who are not current members. Please register by October 1 with Alana Ottenbreit, Executive Director, Biathlon SK (sask.ski@sasktel.net ) to receive the Zoom meeting link. Please include club representation when registering.

Saskatchewan Biathlete Qualifies for World Junior Biathlon Championships in Austria
Logan Pletz, a member of Qu’Appelle Valley Nordic and currently training as a member of Biathlon Canada’s Senior National Development Team in Whistler, BC, has been selected for a spot on Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in Austria.

SVERTS Challenge Results
RESULTS OF SVERTS CHALLENGE #1 IN
Thanks to all of you participated in our first skills training challenge. We had over seventy people taking part. A big shout out to the coaches and volunteers who help this be so successful. Davyd, Finn B, Brecon and Torie, were drawn for posters in the early bird draw.
The next challenge is a short individual race From Feb 5-15. Remember that there is a one minute penalty for every miss so shoot straight and plan your race strategy accordingly.
