Intro to Biathlon Program coming to Regina

Biathlon Saskatchewan is very excited to bring Intro to Biathlon to Regina!   The 4-week program will introduce participants aged 8 and older to the basics of skiing and shooting using EcoAims biathlon equipment.  No previous shooting or skiing experience is required to participate in the program and all shooting and skiing equipment is provided.  

The program will run on Thursdays on February 6, 13, 27 and March 6 from 6:00 to 7:30, with outdoor sessions happening at the Saskatchewan Science Centre.  The investment to participate is $40 + Biathlon Canada membership.  Don't miss it...register now by clicking here!

Online Entry Level Officials Course - Jan 7, 9 and 11

Online Entry Level Officials Course

Instructors for this course are Christoph Dettling from Biathlon British Columbia and James Froh, Biathlon Saskatchewan. This course is designed to prepare you to work as biathlon officials, under the supervision of an advanced official. There is a $25 fee for the six-hour online course, it occurs over three 2-hour sessions, all times in Saskatchewan time:

·        Tuesday, 7 January 2025 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm,

·        Thursday, 9 January 2025 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm, and

·        Saturday, 11 January 2025 from 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Biathlon Sask Turkey Trot - Oct 19 and 20

Biathlon Saskatchewan is happy to welcome back the Turkey Trot event to spice up your autumn training!  This year's event in the Regina area will feature a rollerski-only competition and a biathlon run-and-shoot competition - come to one or both!  The biathlon competition will feature our typical .22 and Air Rifle categories, as well as new EcoAims categories for U13, U17, and Adults.  Those who haven't done biathlon before but are curious about racing can try out the EcoAims at a demo immediately following the rollerski race.  What's even better is that all the competitions are FREE!  Check out the race notice for all the details and be sure to register here.  Questions?  Reach out to Sheri Adams-Selinger at sheri.adams.selinger@qvn.ca.
